Evaluating the Course

Final: Part 2

Evaluating the course

A.    In New Media A, I enjoyed learning the different concepts of a computer, and how to use/make a blog.  I did not like how it was the same lesson plan every day.
B.    It would have helped changing it up and focusing on how to use a computer in general, then creating new
Posts every single day. Also have the class interact with each other.
C.    Of course I did my best in the class, it’s my grade on the line.
D.    I do not read my 100+ Goals Life planning book because I don’t believe I need one to achieve what I want in life.
E.     I would try to be a CTR person when it is at an appropriate time. If I need to do something ‘bad’ to get something good for the benefit of a loved one, I will go to the extreme.

F.      I promise to keep going to therapy to stop from mentally hurting my mind and spirit. As for my body, I will stay active and focus on keeping my weight and eating habits in check.

Interdisciplinary Unit

Final: Part 1

Interdisciplinary Unit

When the time came for HPIAMers to start working on the interdisciplinary project, I was not thrilled. I already knew we were going to be in groups of four or more and I did not like the idea. I got stuck with Vanesa, Modesto, Randy, Jordan, and a guy named Edwin. Edwin dropped out from the very beginning, informing me that he didn’t care and was not interested. Jordan had been lagging his research and was honestly pissing me off. Modesto, randy and vanesa did try to do something, but it quickly showed they didn’t know how to do anything. So to save my grade I took all of the responsibility and worked as hard as I knew I could. The day of the showcase, I was not nervous until before I had to actually present. I was not nervous for myself so much as for my group. I took charge during the presentation and answered all of the ending questions.

Student Success Statement

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”

Abraham Lincoln

Not everyone feels bad when doing a ‘bad thing.’ Sometimes doing ‘good’ for a person can feel like the worst decision of your life. An example of doing good V.S. bad would be, if someone dropped their wallet on the street, a good person would pick it up and return it, a ‘bad person would keep it and take the money.

Mr. Haymore

Student Success Statement

“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being”

Mr. Haymore

Taking care of your body would be exercising and eating healthy. Taking care of your mind would be using luminosity.com to play mind games, keeps the brain active. And the spirit, I wouldn’t know

Richard L. Evans

Student Success Statement

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do”

Richard L. Evans

It’s not about courage. It’s about doing what you have to do to get something done, whether it’s to start something, or to stop it. If you want it you go and get it without blinking twice.

Mark Twain

Student Success Statement

“Always do right”

Mark Twain

Doing right for someone, or even for yourself is a good thing. It can bring many opportunities and awards for just simply ‘always doing right.’ Sometimes people need to do what’s wrong to get something good out of a situation. Sure people will be hurt and disappointed, but in the end, everyone you love will get a happy ending.

When You Tell One Lie- Lyrics

When You Tell One Lie It Leads To Another
Paul Hatch

When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh brother,
You’re in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect you
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘cause you can’t remember how many lies you’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up and then
Whatever will become of you?

So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep multiplying
‘Till the whole wide world will know you’re lying
Then you’ll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you’re closing the door
On everything good

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”

Paul Hatch

Lying leads to more lies if the first lie was said right, or wasn’t convincing enough. Is told the right lies, it will be the only one told.

Lou Holtz

Student Success Statement

1.                      Can People trust me to do what’s right?
2.                      Am I committed to doing my very best?
3.                      Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
“If the answers to these questions are yes, there is no way you can fail.”

Lou Holtz

I will do what I believe is right, not what others think.
My very best will only be used if it is used for the good of people I care about or me.
If you don’t care, you simple don’t care

I wouldn’t want to pursue a career as a diagnostic Radiologist. It seems boring; I am not an office person. I would like to work out in the field not sit in an office all day.

Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving Break

I didn’t do anything during thanksgiving break. I went to practice Monday and Tuesday, cleaned the whole house because my grandmother demanded it. Wednesday was forced to help with preparation for thanksgiving. Had thanksgiving dinner at 2-o-clock on Thursday -.- went to my room and did government homework. On Friday, I was dragged to go with my mother and her boyfriend to a car dealership and wasted my Friday afternoon. Saturday I cleaned again because everything gets dirty within a few days. And Sunday I spent my day in my room downloading music from YouTube.

John F. Kennedy

Student Success Statement

“Physical fitness is not only the one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”

President John F. Kennedy

Physical fitness has nothing to do with intelligence. Many smart people in the world don’t exercise or worry about their health, they only care to succeed in the work they pursue.
