Thanksgiving

Definition: an annual national holiday based on giving thanks and a traditional meal that includes a turkey. The holiday was celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621, and is held in the US on the fourth Thursday in November. 

I personally don’t like thanksgiving. I think it’s a boring holiday. Yes there’s food but in my family we do a type of Mexican potluck so I don’t really enjoy it. After dinner we just sit around and talk, which is boring.

The statement represents high school. Many students don’t do what they are told. Many other obey, but say thing that are not true. It will forever be a never ending cycle that may just get worse, or get better.

Dental assistant

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare patients for procedures, record medical histories, take x-rays and prepare dental equipment.

Salary: $34,500

Education: High School Diploma

I would not want to become a dental assistant because in my ideal future it is not enough pay to support myself. I also feel like the dental assistants do all the hard work and all the real Dentist does is look at your teeth and say “you’re fine.” They get paid an unreasonable amount. 

Dental Lab Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: The art and science of manufacturing corrective devices and replacements for natural teeth. 

Salary: $28,496

Education: High School Diploma

Becoming a dental lab technician would not be such a bad career choice for me. I enjoy arts and crafts, and creating artificial teeth seems like a challenge, a challenge I would like to accomplish. Sadly, my interest are elsewhere, I don’t want to get into the medical career.

Yes it may make a difference if we do right or wrong, and it may also not. Sometimes choosing to do the right thing doesn’t always help your situation or others. Simple choose what you think will help you, and your future.

History facts: World War I ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919. However, fighting ceased seven months earlier when a temporary cessation of hostilities, between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month; November 11. For that reason, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.” In November 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 to be a day filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory.

I have an uncle, my mother’s, half sister’s husband, who served at first to pay off his college classes, then later joined once again to pay for the wonderful home he and my aunt bought together. I don’t see them often so I am not as close to them as I am with my mother’s brother, my godfather. I know if he were to join I would extremely upset, and worried because as it is we have a very special bond and it would sadden me.

If you need to cheat to get something very important done, I would do it. Not necessary in a game but more in everyday life like at work or something. If you know how to do something, just skip steps and get done what you need to get done.

I agree with W. Clement Stone’s quote. Its simply but very true. It is not two sided like other quotes; I have nothing to argue with this one.

Similar words: Honesty, faithful, and morality.

My mother grew up in HP and attended HP high school. She knows the peer pressure and danger in the city. She hung out with cholas or “fools” and it did not destroy her. Even though she hung around with the bad crowd, and still drinks and such, she has become a very successful women and is still working hard raise my sisters and I.

Dance/Movements Therpist

Duties and Responsibilities: The psychotherapeutic use of movement and dance to support intellectual, emotional, and motor functions of the body

Salary: $50,000

Education: Master in Arts, Dance, and Education.

I don’t like dancing so I wouldn’t really enjoy being a dance/movement therapist. But I know it is great therapy for dancing athletes if they ever get injured.
