Sometimes a little competition is inspiring, and helpful in someone’s life. It could be used to motivate a person into trying to get ahead of everyone, including themselves. So it’s okay for people to get ahead of others, because after it gives them the opportunity to get ahead of themselves and learn from their own experiences.

Education: Master's Degree or First Professional Degree

I wouldn’t want to become an allopathic physician. Even with the research I did, I still don’t really understand what it really is, and based on the pictures, I wouldn’t want to perform any type of surgery on anyone, only because I’m afraid of poking something important of misplacing a body part.

Allergist/ Immunologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, and help prevent allergic diseases and disease processes affecting the immune system.

Salary: About $180,000 a year

Education: Master's Degree or First Professional Degree

Becoming an Allergist/Immunologist has its peeks, well pay, vacation days, and medical insurance. It’s all good but I don’t think I would fit the profile. Thankfully I have a very good immune system and haven’t gotten sick since last September. But the thought of being around sick people, (even though they have allergies) doesn’t help change my mind.

I would not want to be a professional at acupuncture because I’ve seen destination 5, and I don’t want to be responsible for the death or paralyze a patient.

It is very possible for someone to do wrong and feel fine. many teenagers do stupid, ignorant things and don't feel any shame or guilt. I most certainly don't. I'm sorry to say but i feel no type of guilt for the stuff I've done, and neither do many adults.

I wouldn't want to become an acupressure specialist because I would afraid of accidentally paralyzing a patient and being sued for my carelessness. 

First week of school

My first Week of school at HPIAM. 2014-2015

My first week of school at HPIAM, was the same as sophomore year and junior year. i still don't like certain teachers, certain people and i definitely don't like the lunch food. high school is misery for me and for many other students. school is always the same, it never changes, maybe a few teachers leave, and others join, but nothing new. its always the same. the only thing different about this school year is all the new freshman who think they know what high school is all about. they know NOTHING! high school is a joke. is a sad excuse of a school. its a place for teenagers to be during the day, away from adults. my first week of school at HPIAM, was the same as all my other years in high school, boring, incomplete, and very very annoying.

Education is not always the latchkey to success. My mother graduated high school, and didn’t go to college and somehow ended up as a paralegal. She makes descent money and provides for my two little sisters and i. she has managed to work her way up to success without education.

Ophthalmologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in the treatment of the eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologists are in private practice however, some are employed by hospitals or clinics and others perform research.

Average Salary: $90,000-$150,000

Educational Requirements:

Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologists. After completing medical must then complete a three to five years residency in an approved ophthalmology program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

                      

I wouldn’t want to become an ophthalmologist only because I wouldn’t want to be responsible for my patient’s eyes. They will blame me for not being able to ‘cure’ them for their blindness, or for not being able to give them the right prescription meant for their eyes.

Decisions don’t always determine your own destiny. Sometimes it’s not your decision to make which could cause major problems in someone’s life. It may also hurt the ones you love or help them. Many people may take advantage of the decision making you do in your life and could do you harm by using them against you. To me this quote is not accurate, because you have the power to change your destiny.

Psychiatrist

Duties and responsibilities:

Psychiatrists are physician who specialize in the problems of mental illness. As psychiatrists they are licensed to use a wide variety of treatment sand may write prescription. Psychiatrists may work for the government have their own private practice or work in hospitals, clinics, or universities.  Their duties include:

·         Designing treatment programs

·         Conducting psychotherapy session

·         Prescribing potent mental illness drugs

·         Supervising electrotherapy treatments

·         Conducting research

·         Leading a team of mental health care providers

Average salary: $90,000-$200,000

Educational requirements: bachelors, masters, Ph.D. degrees

In addition to completing the requirements for a degree, in allopathic or osteopathic medicine psychiatrists must complete an intensive three year residency in psychiatry.

I might want to be a psychiatrist in the future as a career but I wouldn’t only because if I’m in the middle of a session with someone and they begin talking about their feelings, I might get reminded of my own problems and such and become upset and I don’t want that.
