day? Recognition of President George Washington’s
Birthday.
3. When is president’s day? Third Monday in February.
4. What are a few ways to show honor and
respect on the president’s day? Many
statues around the country. Purple Heart medal is awarded to soldiers who are
injured in battle. Washington’s Birthday offers another opportunity for the
United States to honor its veterans.
5. Anything of interest? It is a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents past
and present.
