them for EKG tests which measures electrical impulses from the heart

Becoming an
electrocardiograph technician wouldn’t be a career choice I would pick. Anything
in the medical career doesn’t interest me, maybe a type of surgeon but even
then I don’t plan on being in school for that long. So no, I wouldn’t be an
electrocardiograph technician
