Ambulance Dispatcher

Ambulance dispatcher
Duties and responsibilities: Operate radio, telephone, or computer equipment at emergency response centers. Receive reports from the public of crimes, disturbances, fires, and medical or police emergencies. Relay information to law enforcement and emergency response personnel. May maintain contact with caller until responders arrive.

Salary: $37,000 a year

Education: High School Diploma or Some College

Becoming an ambulance dispatcher would be a very stressful job to work at. It would be a quick fast moving pace job that is based on the lives of other people, and I wouldn’t be able to handle the burden of someone else’s life on my shoulders.
