Ambulance dispatcher
Duties
and responsibilities:
Operate radio, telephone, or computer
equipment at emergency response centers. Receive reports from the public of
crimes, disturbances, fires, and medical or police emergencies. Relay
information to law enforcement and emergency response personnel. May maintain
contact with caller until responders arrive.
Salary: $37,000 a year
Education: High School Diploma or Some College
Becoming an ambulance dispatcher
would be a very stressful job to work at. It would be a quick fast moving pace
job that is based on the lives of other people, and I wouldn’t be able to
handle the burden of someone else’s life on my shoulders.
